This Privacy Policy explains how Podstreho ("Podstreho", "we", "us", or "our") processes personal data when you use the Podstreho mobile app and the Podstreho website at `podstreho.si`.

Podstreho is a property-listing search service focused on Slovenian real estate listings.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Podstreho is responsible for the processing of any personal data described in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions or privacy requests, contact [support@podstreho.si](mailto:support@podstreho.si).

2. What data we process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process the following categories of data:

### A. Data shown in listings

The app displays listing information obtained from listing sources and our backend, including:

- property title and description - listing price and property details - listing photos - seller or agency contact details included in the listing - property location data included in the listing

This data relates primarily to the property listing itself and, where provided by the source, may include agent or seller contact information.

### B. Data stored locally on your device

The current version of the app stores a limited amount of information on your device, including:

- your saved favorites - your selected app language or locale preference

This data is stored locally using device storage and is used to preserve your app settings and favorites.

### C. App usage and service request data

When the app loads listings or search results from our backend services, technical data may be processed as part of normal service operation, such as:

- IP address - request timestamps - basic device, network, and diagnostic metadata - anonymous, non-user-identifiable telemetry related to click behavior on not-yet implemented app features

This telemetry is not used to track users across other companies' apps, websites, or services.

This kind of data may be processed by our infrastructure providers for service delivery, security, and reliability.

### D. Map-related requests

When you view maps inside the app, map tile requests are made to third-party map infrastructure. Those requests may include technical data such as your IP address and browser or app request metadata.

### E. Communications with us

If you contact us by email, we will process:

- your email address - the contents of your message - any information you choose to include

3. What we currently do not request from your device

Based on the current app implementation, Podstreho does not currently request or use:

- precise device location - contacts - camera access - microphone access - advertising identifiers - in-app analytics SDKs - in-app advertising SDKs

If this changes in a future release, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for additional permissions or notices.

4. Why we process data

We process data for the following purposes:

- to provide listing search and browsing functionality - to display listing details, photos, maps, and seller contact information - to remember your favorites and app language preferences - to maintain service security, reliability, and performance - to respond to support requests and legal requests - to comply with legal obligations

5. Legal bases under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, including Slovenia, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

- performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, to provide the app and its core functionality - legitimate interests, for service security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service improvement - legal obligation, where processing is required by law - consent, where we specifically ask for it

6. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data with service providers that help us operate Podstreho, such as:

- hosting and backend infrastructure providers - database and storage providers - map tile providers - email providers

We may also disclose data:

- if required by law, regulation, court order, or valid legal request - to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service - in connection with a business transfer, merger, or reorganization

7. Third-party services

The current service may rely on third-party providers including:

- Supabase, for backend and database infrastructure - CARTO or related map tile infrastructure, when map views are used - your device's email, phone, browser, and sharing apps, when you choose to open links, make calls, send emails, or share content

These third parties may process technical data according to their own privacy policies when you interact with those services.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

- as long as needed to provide the service - as long as needed for security, backup, logging, and troubleshooting - as long as required by applicable law

Favorites and language preferences stored locally on your device remain there until you remove them, uninstall the app, or clear the app's local data.

Support emails are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain appropriate business records.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries outside your home country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

- request access to personal data we hold about you - request correction of inaccurate data - request deletion of your data - object to or restrict certain processing - request data portability - withdraw consent where processing is based on consent - lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

11. Children's privacy

Podstreho is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 through the app.

If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will review the request.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at `podstreho.si/privacy-policy` and update the "Last updated" date above.
